Inaugural members of the board, drawn from the Elite global base of large law firm clients with more than 135 lawyers—include:

Meeting in person twice a year and serving an initial two-year term, board members will provide invaluable and in-depth insight into a number of strategic issues, including the development of products and services, feedback on customer priorities moving forward, and the overall experience of working with Elite. This insight will play an essential role in ensuring that Elite continues to maintain and enhance its position as the world’s leading provider of end-to-end enterprise business management solutions for the legal and professional services sector.
“Our commitment to customer advocacy allows us to focus clearly on what is best for our customer, and our new Client Advisory Board is very much part of that focus,” said Patrick Hurley, vice president of Customer Advocacy at Elite. “User group and customer feedback is of paramount importance as we seek to not only improve our range of products and solutions, but also create a more seamless customer experience.”
“The creation of the new Client Advisory Board is a natural next step in our ongoing commitment to customer satisfaction, providing an important additional forum for engaging with our clients,” added Eric Ruud, managing director of Legal Enterprise Solutions at Thomson Reuters. “By taking strategic input directly from our customers, we can ensure that our range of market-leading products and services continues to improve and adds even greater value to our clients’ businesses.”
Board member Robert Burger, executive director and chief operating officer at Sterne Kessler Goldstein & Fox, commented, "We are excited to be asked to bring some client-based and forward-thinking strategic input to the senior leadership team at Thomson Reuters Elite. We are also delighted to act as a well-needed sounding board for all of the Elite user community.”
“I am excited about the Client Advisory Board created by Thomson Reuters Elite,” said board member Sue Wilder, associate director of Finance at Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP. “They are giving us the opportunity to have input in the direction they intend to take their product offerings as well as to hear about the challenges faced by law firms today. It shows that they are invested in partnering with law firms to successfully deliver quality solutions for our internal and external clients.”
Board member Stuart Whittle, IS and operations director at Weightmans LLP commented, “The Thomson Reuters Elite core Enterprise Business Management Solution and Matter Management products will underpin our firm’s strategy for the foreseeable future as we continue our transformation into a technology-led law firm.”
