Latest Version of MatterSphere provides new interface and additional Admin Kit functionalities

Thomson Reuters Elite, part of Thomson Reuters Legal, today announced the release of MatterSphere7.1, the latest version of the matter management component of the Elite Client & Matter Management offerings. MatterSphere 7.1 gives clients a more intuitive and user friendly experience with a new user interface and customizable navigation tree menus. Client & Matter Management is an integral segment of the Elite Enterprise Business Management Solution, a comprehensive suite designed to help clients manage every aspect of their businesses. MatterSphere ensures consistent, repeatable matter workflow processes that keep your teams all working productively and profitably toward the same goal.

In addition to an enhanced user interface, the latest version of MatterSphere includes updates to the Admin Kit that provide more control and efficiency around matters for firm administrators. New search functionality helps administrators more quickly find what they need, such as certain areas of functionality. In addition, using the customized My Favourites or Last 10 accessed lists allows users to quickly access frequently used functionality. Administrators also now have the ability to update multiple configurable types at the same time. For example, they can make changes to a bunch of matters all at once, resulting in saved time and greater efficiency.
Other enhancements include the introduction of client statuses. With the ability to lock down features depending on the status of a matter, user inputs will be more accurate. Using the matter status, users can control the creating and editing of Time Recording records, creating and editing documents, creating appointments, creating associates, and processing task flow tasks and stages. Client status can control creating and editing of Time Recording records and the creation of matters.
